The following evening we ended back at my dad's house to spend Christmas with Ashleigh, Chad, Alexis, Alyssa , Steven, Rosie, and Don (Diane's parents). So, this is what happened later that evening.
Alyssa is telling her mom, Diane, about her gift and how she may have given her the wrong one. So, she tells her mom to open the other present.

Yes, This is the new GRANDPARENTS!!! They are so excited along with me. The holidays will be very exciting next year with a little one around. Alyssa and Steven are due with the first child June 5. She is 18 weeks next week, I think I am right! Alyssa will find out what the sex is in February. Look how happy these two are. Instead of their house being quiet , it will soon be filled with toys, books, a baby bed for the new grandchild.
Congrats to Alyssa and Steven. It will be an exciting 2009 for the two of them along with the entire family.

Thanks for sharing these photos. You can see the look of surprise on our faces. I had not idea Alyssa and Steven were expecting. Looking forward to the arrival of a new grandchild. She is supposed to find out if it is a boy or girl next Friday!
